button to cancel the process. An acoustic signal is issued after a few seconds in the case of successful
deregistration. The handset is now deregistered and can no longer be used for internal and external calls.

Additional base stations
The range of the handset can be increased by using several base stations. To implement the function, all the base
stations must be connected to a telephone line connection. Depending on the intended use, each base station can
be assigned the same telephone number or each can be assigned a different call number. Pay attention that all the
base stations overlap with regard to their range. Each handset must be registered on each base station. Please test
the range of the handset before starting up a new base station. If a handset is registered on the base stations and
automatic dialling of the base station has been activated on the handset (further information is provided in this
chapter), the handset is automatically transferred to the next base station. Calls in progress, however, cannot be
transferred from one base station to another.
Selecting a base station
1. Press the

button on the handset.

to select the REGISTER menu and confirm by pressing

to select the SELECT BASE menu and confirm by pressing

.
4. The display then shows all the base stations to which the handset has been registered. The number of the
base station currently active flashes. Use the digit keys to enter the number of the base station to which the
handset should be switched. Or press the
D
and
E
buttons to change the setting to AUTO. This option
causes the handset to switch to the next base station automatically when the connection to the current
base station is too weak.
5. Confirm by pressing the
B
button.
