Inserting the rechargeable batteries
In order to insert the rechargeable batteries in the handset, press on the top edge of the battery compartment cover
and slide it downwards. Only insert standard batteries. Pay attention the correct polarity. Close the battery
compartment cover.

Charging the batteries
Place the handset, with its display facing the front, for at least 14 hours in the base station. The charging control lamp
on the base station lights up. Failure to fully charge the batteries can lead to telephone malfunction.
The rechargeable batteries in the handset have a maximum standby time of 100 hours at room temperature. The
maximum talk time is 10 hours.

Tone dialling - DTMF
This telephone implements the tone dialling method - DTMF (Dual Tone Multi Frequency). Advantages of this modern
dialling method include short connection times, remote control options for other equipment, such as an answering
machine, and the use of other ISDN services.
