From the 'Use Default Proxy' drop-down list, select 'Yes’. This allows Mediation Server to act
as a proxy server.

From the ‘Redundant Routing Mode’ drop-down list, select ‘Proxy’. This parameter
determines that if a 5xx response is received for an INVITE message to the primary proxy,
the Gateway will attempt to send it to the redundant proxy. To configure 503 for the Reason
for Alternative Routing (as required by Lync 2010), refer to Section
4.
