Mains

The CDT-Six / Force is equipped with a single IEC mains input socket,
located  on  the  right  hand  side  of  rear  panel  of  the  Force  Power
Supply, when the unit is viewed from behind. Combined with this input
socket  is  the  main  power  switch,  and  this  is  used  to  turn  on  and  off
BOTH units.

Once all of the umbilical cables have been correctly connected, use
the supplied mains cable to connect the Force Power Supply to the
local mains supply. Make sure the power switch is in the ‘OFF’
position before connecting the mains cable to the unit or the local
mains supply.

The mains fuse is located inside the unit; in the event that this needs
to be changed, please consult your Audio Note (UK) Dealer, who will
be happy to assist you. Alternatively, feel free to contact us directly.

Once all the connections are completed and checked, ensure that the volume control
on your preamplifier / integrated amplifier is at the minimum setting.

Ensure that any following equipment connected to the CDT-Six / Force (DAC,
preamplifier, power amplifiers etc) is switched OFF

. Source components should

always  be  the

FIRST

components  to  be  switched  on  and  the

LAST

components  to

be switched off.

The  above  procedure  minimizes  the  possibility  of  loud  noises  produced  by
components  at  switch  on  being  passed  to  the  loudspeakers  and  possibly  causing
damage.
