Press the SUBTITLE button or arrow bar while the subtitle setting appears
on the monitor. The subtitle settings will change each time the button is pressed.

The arrow bar will cycle backwards through the language choices. The
subtitles may not appear in some scenes depending on the disc programming.

Press the CLEAR button to exit the subtitle-setting feature.

An alternate method of displaying subtitles is to press the SUBTITLE ON/OFF button on
the remote control unit. The subtitle setting will appear on the video monitor for about
three (3) seconds. The applicable subtitle will also appear at the bottom of the monitor
screen.

To de-activate the subtitles, press the SUBTITLE ON/OFF button. The subtitle setting
line will appear for about three (3) seconds and the subtitles will be removed from the
screen. (DVD video discs that are set to display subtitles automatically will not de-
activate the subtitle function even though the SUBTITLE ON/OFF button is pressed).
