To set special sound output for visually impaired persons:
This setting will describe the actions on-screen and provide special audio output only if
the DVD video disc being played contains the special feature.
a.
Before leaving the AUDIO menu, press the AUDIO button on the remote control
unit. This will set the DESCRIPTIVE SERVICE function to the ON position.
b.
Press the ENTER button to activate the function. Press SET UP to exit the menu.

To select an audio setting during playback
The current audio setting will appear as a one-line display for about three (3) seconds. It
will contain the following information from left to right:
Audio mode, Position #, Language abbreviation, Type of recording system, & Audio channel #
a.
The language abbreviation appears in the language indicator. Refer to the
appendix in this publication for a list of the languages.
b.
Press the AUDIO button or arrow bar while the audio setting appears on the
video monitor. The audio settings will change each time the button or arrow is
pressed; arrow bar will cycle backwards through the choices.
