OVERVIEW:

The MC-6011 for the Suite 8 and Suite 16 systems has the same basic func-
tionality as the MC-5500 and MC-4500 including the features described in this
document.

The MC-6011 fits in a single gang electrical box and is covered with a single
gang Decora style wall plate.  While it is the same size as the single gang MC-
5011 and MC-5511, it operates more like the advanced MC-4500 and MC-
5500.  Naturally, because it has fewer buttons, some of the functions work
differently.

One of the key benefits of the MC-6011 is that it can access all sixteen inputs of
a Suite 16 system.  It can also skip over inputs that are not applicable in a
particular zone when installed with both Suite 8x8 and Suite 16 systems.

The MC-6011 features 11 buttons, an IR receiver, and a 12 character alphanu-
meric OLED display.  The buttons are backlit by green LEDs and the Off button
has a dual green/red LED.

OPERATION:

Turning off a zone or the entire system.

To turn off a room, press and release the Off button.  When the zone is on or the system is completely off
(All Off), the Off button is green.  It is red only when the zone is off but another zone(s) is still on.   To turn
off the entire system, press and hold the Off button until it flashes.

Turning on a zone and changing inputs.

To turn on a room to the last source used in that zone, press and release the Sel button.  To select a
specific input prior to turning on a room, use the Up and Dn buttons to scroll through potential inputs, and
once the desired input is displayed, press the Sel button.  If you forget to press the Sel button, the input will
automatically engage in three seconds anyway.  To change inputs at any time, use the Up and Dn buttons
to scroll through potential sources, then press the Sel button to engage the desired input.  An arrow will
appear to the left of the source name for inputs that are not selected, making it easy to spot the input that
is already in use (because that input will not have an arrow to the left).

Adjusting Volume

Once a zone is on, the Vol Up and Dn buttons to change a rooms volume level.  The keypad’s display will
indicate volume level feedback from the Suite 8x8 or Suite 16.

Controlling Sources

Once an input is selected, the four transport buttons (<<, >>, >, ||) along with the Sel button become
source transport functions.  These functions send commands to that inputs assigned Source Control
option (if any) including a Tune Suite tuner module, an IRL-5000 port, a Special CD address, or a relay on
the LVI-3800.
