Your Brian Deegan Metal Mulisha 1/18th Scale model is a high performance RC vehicle.
From time to time it will require simple maintenance to keep it running at top
performance. Follow the steps below to ensure the longest life and best performance of
your vehicle.
1) Clean your vehicle after every use to prevent damage and excess wear from debris.
2) Check for loose screws, nuts, or other unsecured parts. Apply Thread Locking
Compound (T.L.C.) to all screws that are fastened into metal. Do not apply T.L.C. to
screws that go into plastic, as this may damage the plastic.
3) Check for excess play or slop in all moving parts. This includes driveline components,
suspension parts, and bearings. Some items will wear over time and may require
replacement.
4) If your vehicle becomes submerged in water, after running, clean off the vehicle, open
the receiver box, and with compressed air, blow out any excess water in all
components.
5) Lube bearings with a light silicone oil or bearing oil to maintain best bearing
performance. If you run in wet conditions, be sure to lube all bearings frequently to
prevent them from rusting.
6) Check all electronic connections. Inspect the ESC and battery terminals. Over time they
can become dirty, which increases resistance and robs power from the system.
