WARNING - Electric shock!
Contact with current-carrying components may
cause a lethal electric shock. The irradiator
ignition system is under high voltage. Prior to
service work, disconnect the instrument from
the power supply system!
•
Switch the instrument off using the ON/OFF
switch.
•
Disconnect the mains plug from the socket
and protect it from accidental reconnection.
•
Check to see if the device is de-energized.

filter:
1. Open the right device door
1
and rotate the retaining
screws using a screwdriver.
2. Pull the filter

out of the mounting
2
.
3. Push the new filter into the mounting.
4. Close the instrument door.
Cleaning the air filters:
The air filters for irradiator cooling and test chamber cooling must
be cleaned every six months.
Clean the filter in a solution of tepid water and some light-duty
detergent and rinse it thoroughly.
In case of stubborn dirt, tap the filter mat clean, vacuum it or
blow it out using a soft compressed air stream, then clean it in
water.
Replacing the air cleaners:
After the two filters have been cleaned twice, they must be re-
placed.

2. Insert the new or cleaned filter and secure it in the mounting.
Replacing the Xenon lamp:
To comply with the irradiation consistency, the Xenon lamp must
be replaced after 1500 operating hours (see Section 6.3).
The required replacement after 1500 operating hours is reported
by the program control. The age of the Xenon lamp can also
be requested during a program run using the "DATA" key (see
software documentation).
