BATTERIES: OVERVIEW
• Gen 2 batteries can be identified by their model number (6954D9) and specification label
• Gen 1 batteries have a different capacity than Gen 2 batteries, 5350mAh versus 6500mAh
• Gen 2 batteries have an internal heater, brighter LEDs and addtional specifications on the label
• Gen 2 batteries can be activated at temperatures lower than 15°C
• USE ONLY GEN2 BATTERIES WHEN FLYING WITH QUIET PROPS

15°C and below (Gen2 batteries only)
1.
The LED indicators display the current battery level. To prevent swelling, the battery
automatically discharges to below 45% of total power when it is idle for more than 10 days. It
takes approximately two days to discharge and it is normal to emit heat during the discharge
process.
2.
Balanced Charging: Cell voltage is automatically balanced while charging.
3.
Overcharge Protection: Charging automatically stops when the battery is fully charged.
4.
Temperature Detection: The battery will only charge when the temperature is greater than 0°C
(41°F) and less than 40°C (104°F).
5.
Over-Current Protection: The battery stops charging when high amperage (more than 8 A) is
detected.
6.
Over-Discharge Protection: To prevent over-discharge damage, discharging automatically
stops when the battery voltage reaches 12 V .
7.
Short Circuit Protection: Automatically cuts the power supply when a short circuit is detected.
8.
Battery Cell Damage Protection: The AtlasPRO application displays a warning message when
a damaged battery cell is detected.
9.
Sleep Mode: To save power, the battery enters sleep mode after 40 minutes of inactivity.
10.
Communication: Information pertaining to the battery’s voltage, capacity, current, etc. is
transmitted to the aircraft’s main controller.
