1) Operation
Yearly -- Regrease motor, for the interval and quantity, see section Motors.
Yearly -- Have the compressor inspected by an Atlas Copco Service
representative.
Yearly -- Have operation of sensors, electrical interlockings and components
tested by an electrician.
2-Yearly 8000 Have oil separator element replaced.
When displayed -- Carry out service action according to the displayed service plans.
1) Whichever interval comes first. The local Atlas Copco Customer centre may overrule the
maintenance schedule, especially the service intervals, depending on the environmental and
working conditions of the compressor.
When operating in a dusty atmosphere, inspect the air filters more frequently.
Always use Atlas Copco filters.
The separator element must be replaced two-yearly or every 8000 running hours or when
the pressure difference over the element exceeds 0.8 bar (11.6 psi). Check the pressure
drop when the compressor is running loaded and preferably with a stable working pressure.
Damaged flexibles must be replaced immediately.
• The schedule contains a summary of the maintenance instructions. Read the related section
before taking maintenance measures.
• Any leak should be attended to immediately.
• The "longer interval" checks must also include the "shorter interval" checks.

Atlas Copco Customer Centres have a range of service agreements to suit your needs:
• An Inspection Plan
• A Preventive Maintenance Plan
• A Total Responsibility Plan
Contact your Customer Centre to set up a tailor-made service agreement. It will ensure optimum
operational efficiency, minimize downtime and reduce the total life cycle costs.
Service plan
A number of service operations are grouped (called Level A, Level B, Level C...). Each level
stands for a number of service actions to be carried out at the time intervals programmed in the
Elektronikon regulator.
When a level is reached, a message will appear on the screen. After carrying out all service
actions, the interval timers must be reset using the “Reset” key in the “Service” menu. Consult
your Atlas Copco Service Centre.
