Personal protection equipment
Personal safety
•
Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye
and ear protection.
Protective equipment such as

•
Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jew-

Installation of Vibrating Tools
We recommend using a minimum length of 300 mm (12") of
flexible hose for compressed air between a vibrating tool and
the quick-action coupling.
During work
• Disconnect the tool from the air supply before changing
accessories, chisel or die.
• Stop using the tool if abnormally loud noises or vibra-
tions occur during use.
• Be aware that the chisel may break during operation.
• Never trigger a hammer unless held against the work
piece.
• Use vibration dampened tools if available.
• Reduce the total time of exposure to vibrations, espe-
cially if the chisel has to be guided by hand.
Working area
• Ensure that the area in which you are working is kept
free from other people so that no one can get injured.
• People nearby must also wear hearing and eye protec-
tion.
• Check that there is good ventilation and dust extraction
from the premises.
• There should be a stand or a place available, on which
the machine can be safely placed.
• Work within a sealed-off area, if possible with protecting
walls.
• Explosive atmosphere must not be ignited - use acces-
