The water heater you have just acquired comprises :
• a tank covered with a protective layer of vitreous enamel;
• an energy cut-off device in case of an abnormal temperature rise;
• A thermostat ensuring maintenance of the water temperature.
the heating element is an electric resistance which heats up the water volume.
For water heaters with direct heating element :
• the direct heating element is drowned in the water. To replace the water heaters has to be drained.
For water heaters Steatite Magnesium :
• the steatite heating element is fitted in an steel sleeve. No need to drain the water heater to change the hea-
ting element.
