8.4 Printhead cleaning 

 

It is suggested to clean the printhead when pixels are missing on printed cards: 

•

 

The edge of the printhead must be cleaned using the cleaning pen to remove residual 
ink ordust. 

 

1.  Unplug the printer from the power  supply and open the top cover. 

 
 

 
 
 
 
                       

 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

1.  Using the pen included in the cleaning kit, clean the printhead by rubbing the pen in the direction
