3.8 Data Collection
There are two ways data can be stored, data can be collected and stored on a file on a PC or network
directory or it can be collected and stored on the customers MicroSD™ card plugged into the Wireless F/T
unit.

3.8.2
Collecting and Storing Data on a PC or Network File
To collect data to a file, enter the path and file name or click the “…” button to the left of the field
and select an existing file (or enter the name of a new file). Click the “Collect Data” button to
begin collecting data. Once you have the desired amount of data, click the “Stop” button to stop
collecting data.
The measurement data is stored in comma-separated value format (CSV) so it can be read by
spreadsheets and data-analysis programs. Name your file with a .CSV extension. If you are
planning on collecting large amounts of data, it is a good idea to understand any limitations your
spreadsheet or data analysis program may have on the number of rows it can work with.
