CALIBRATING A CHANNEL
6.1
NONE CALIBRATION
To obtain an optimal representation of the acquired data, data must be calibrated.
Calibration is possible using the Channel Calibration page.
There are 4 types of calibration:
•
None, the input data will not be calibrated and will be acquired as is (raw format)
•
Linear, the input data will be calibrated linearly using a gain and offset
•
Polyline, the input data will be calibrated using a multipoint calibration
•
Suspension, use this type of calibration for suspension sensors
•
If the None calibration option is used, the input data will not be calibrated and will be
acquired as is (raw format)
•
An example of None calibration is shown below:
To change the type of calibration, press the Calibration Type drop-down menu and select None
