General Maintenance of the Y Axis

The Y Axis should be inspected
prior to use.  Inspect the rail where
the slide bearings make contact
with the arm (shown right) to
remove any loose debris or dirt. 

Y Axis Drive Belt Tension

The Y Axis drive belt must be secure, but not overtightened.  There should be minimal play in the transducer slide
block. 

General Maintenance of the Y Axis

The Y Axis should be inspected prior to use.  Inspect the rail where the slide bearings make contact with the arm
