Assigning and switching on the kitchen timer
Th
e kitchen timer can only be linked to active cooking zones.
Th
e hob is switched on.
1. Simultaneously press the
and
button of the kitchen/egg
timer twice to switch, clockwise, to the fi rst active cooking zone
(in this illustration the kitchen timer of the back left zone is
active). With every simultaneous touch of the
and
button,
you go to the kitchen timer of the next active cooking zone, you
can then set this kitchen timer and see it.

With
the or
button, set the desired cooking time.

e kitchen timer will start when the dot next to the set time
disappears. Th
e red light of the kitchen timer of the active cooking
zone will keep fl ashing.
If you
do not
set a time with the
and
button, the kitchen
timer will automatically switch off after 10 seconds.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 to set the kitchen timer for another active
cooking zone.
Switching off the kitchen timer
1. Simultaneously press the
and
button of the kitchen/egg
timer (several times) to choose the correct kitchen timer you want
to switch off .
Th
e dot next to the set time will light.
2. Press and hold the
button of the kitchen/egg timer until ‘01.’
appears on the display. Again press the
button.
Th
e kitchen timer is now in the stand-by mode. Th
e selected kitchen
timer automatically switches off after 10 seconds.
Switching off the alarm of the kitchen/egg timer
When the set time/cooking time has passed the alarm goes off while the red
light of the active cooking zone/egg timer and ‘00’ will keep fl ashing.
1. Press any operation button to switch off the alarm.
Attention
If several kitchen/egg timers are active, the kitchen/egg timer
always shows the display of the kitchen/egg timer with the least
remaining time.
