CARE AND USE INSTRUCTIONS
Storage:
If you are not using the grill and want to storage it outside, be sure that the grill is
completed cool down before you cover it.
Before you use the grill: push the two ratchet wheels to prevent the grill from rolling.
It is recommended to store the grill in a weatherproof and covered area like garage / shed /
etc. These ensure complete protection even in winter.
Cleaning:
The grill is self-cleaning. Heat it to 260°C for 30 minutes to burn all leftovers and debris.
Do not use water or any other type of cleaning product to clean the inside of your Kamado.
The walls are porous and will absorb any fluids used, this could cause the Kamado to
crack. If the soot becomes excessive then use a wire brush to scrape off the carbon
remnants before the next use.
To clean the grates use a non-abrasive cleaner once the unit has fully cooled.
To clean the outer surface use a damp cloth with a mild detergent.
Maintenance:
Tight the straps and lubricate the hinges two times or more in the year if necessary.
Tight the screws and nuts every month on the straps and hinges.
If available dodge the side panels for 10 minutes in a brine and shelves in oil to prevent
mold growth.
