Deleting a volume
•
You cannot recover lost data if you delete a volume. Ensure you back up important
data before deleting a volume.
•
The hot spare disk that you configured for a volume is also be deleted when you delete
the volume.
•
If you delete a RAID 1 volume, the data is preserved on the primary disk.
To delete a volume:
1.
Go to the
Manage Volume
screen, select
Delete Volume
then press <Enter>.
2.
Press <Y> to delete.
