Chapter 2: RAID configuration

Activating a volume

If a volume is removed from one controller/computer or moved to another, the volume is 

considered inactive. To add the volume back to the system, you need to reactivate the 

volume.

To activate the volume:

1. 

Go to the 

Manage Volume

 screen, select 

Activate Volume

 then press <Enter>. 

2. 

Press <Enter> to activate the inactive RAID volume.
