System Memory Expansion
For most circumstances, you may find additional memory is required. This is particularly true as more
and more application programs are designed to run under Windows. To expand system memory capac-
ity is one of the effective way to increase the system performance.
The Notebook PC goes with built-in 16MB 64-Bit high speed SDRAM as factory default. Two 144-
pin SO-DIMM sockets to reserve the headroom for making system memory expansion. Available
memory size options come in 16MB, 32MB or 64MB for each module. The largest size you can
expand on the Notebook PC is up to 144MB when using two single-bank 64MB SODIMM modules.
We recommend that purchase expansion modules from your authorized dealers for compatibility and
stability issues.
The SO-DIMM sockets cover is located on the bottom side of the Notebook PC. A T-screw is provided
to fix.
Please note to install two double-bank SO-DIMM modules into both
sockets can not be accepted by the Notebook PC’s system.
Please care for static-discharge. It is very easy to make damage
on memory modules.
