GETTING STARTED

This chapter explains what you need to do after turning on your Notebook PC. Experienced computer
users may need only read through this chapter and Chapter One while using the rest of the manual
merely as a reference.

Powering Up the Notebook PC for the First Time

To connect the Notebook PC to an AC power source, please refer to Figure 2-1 and the following
directions:
