Chapter 2: BIOS information
2-7
CPU Frequency [xxx]
Displays the frequency sent by the clock generator to the system bus and PCI bus. The
value of this item is auto-detected by the BIOS. Use the
<+>
and
<->
keys to adjust the CPU
frequency. You can also key in the desired CPU frequency using the numeric keypad. The
values range from 133 to 600. Refer to the table below for the correct Front Side Bus and
CPU External Frequency settings.
The following item appears only when you set the
AI Overclocking
item to
[Overclock Profile]
.
DRAM Frequency [Auto]
Allows you to set the DDR2 operating frequency.
Configuration options (for 1600MHz FSB CPU): [Auto] [800MHz] [960MHz] [1000MHz]
[1200MHz]
Configuration options (for 1333MHz FSB CPU): [Auto] [667MHz] [800MHz] [1000MHz]
[1100MHz]
Configuration options (for 1066MHz FSB CPU): [Auto] [667MHz] [800MHz] [1067MHz]
Configuration options (for 800MHz FSB CPU): [Auto] [667MHz] [800MHz]
1.8V Dual Over Voltage [Auto]
Manually set memory voltage or set to Auto for safe mode.
Configuration options: [Auto] [1.92V] [2.01V] [2.17V] [2.26V]
VTT_CPU Over Voltage [Auto]
Manually set FSB Termination Voltage or set to Auto for safe mode.
Configuration options: [Auto] [1.2V] [1.35V]
1.25V Over Voltage [Auto]
Manually set MCH Chipset Voltage or set to Auto for safe mode.
Configuration options: [Auto] [1.25V] [1.4V]
1.5V Over Voltage [Auto]
Manually set ICH Chipset Voltage or set to Auto for safe mode.
Configuration options: [Auto] [1.5V] [1.6V]
Overclock Options [Overclock 5%]
Allows selection of CPU overclocking options to achieve desired CPU internal frequency.
Configuration options: [Overclock 5%] [Overclock 10%] [Overclock 15%] [Overclock 20%]
[Overclock 30%]
Selecting a very high DRAM frequency may cause the system to become unstable! If this
happens, revert to the default setting.
