3.4.5 Miscellaneous settings
You can configure other VoIP settings in the
Misc
configuration page.
To configure
Misc setting
1. From the menu, click
VoIP -> Misc
. The Misc Settings screen is displayed.
2. You may configure the following settings:
•
Phone Default Connect to
: By default, this option is set to
FXS
, which
means that all outgoing phone calls will go through VoIP.
•
VoIP Access Digits
: When you configure
Phone Default Connect to
option
to
PSTN
, all outgoing phone calls will go through PSTN except those phone
numbers prefixed with the VoIP Access Digits.
Under this mode (connect to PSTN), all phone numbers prefixed with the VoIP
Access Digits will go through the VoIP connection.
•
Caller ID type
: From the dropdown list, select the caller ID signal generation
type.
•
Keep alive timer
: A non-zero value in this field will activate the keep-alive
packet sending to SIP server with specified time duration periodically. Keep-
alive is useful to refresh your router session timer and keep the session always
connected.
•
Phone input gain(db)
: Adjust the volume gain of AX-125/145 for the sound/
voice that is sent to AX-125/145.
•
Phone output gain(db)
: Adjust the volume gain of AX-125/145 that you hear
from the phone set.
•
Phone flash time(ms)
: Specify the hook flash time of your phone set here for
AX-125/145’s flash detection.
