There are two sets of drive bays in your computer: a set of two 5.25” drive bays and a
set of three 3.5” drive bays.
Both of the 5.25” drive bays can be accessed from outside of the computer via openings
in the front bezel. The upper bay (labeled A in the following diagram)contains the CD-
ROM drive; the lower bay (B) is available for you to install your own drive.
The upper two 3.5” drive bays can be accessed from outside of the computer via
openings in the front bezel. The upper bay (labeled C) contains the diskette drive; the
middle bay (E) will contain a Zip drive if you ordered one; the lower bay (F) is not
accessible from outside the computer and contains the hard disk.
You can change the installed drives or add additional drives in the empty bays. You can
put an additional 3.5” drive in the empty 3.5” bay, or you can install it in one of the
5.25” bays if you mount the drive in a 5.25” drive carrier.
