The door can be pushed
or pulled open by hand
although it should be
locked.
The bolt is not extended when the door is closed.
Flip latch cannot freely engage in the strike plate.
Adjust the door and the position of the strike plate
so that the flip latch engages freely in the strike
plate and door frame and can position itself.
The bolt is not extended when the door is closed.
Locking cylinder jammed.
Check and replace the locking cylinder if necessary.
Check switchover operation using a key.
The bolt is not extended when the door is closed.
The trip latch is not actuated.
Check and, if necessary, correct the rebate gap.
No status feedback re-
ceived from the lock.
Incorrect connection of the individual contacts or
short circuit due to incorrect polarisation.
Check the electrical connections and, if necessary,
measure the continuity of the connection cable.
The bolt jumps back out
of the lock immediately
after opening the door.
The trip latch is not retained in position for perma-
nent door release.
The door handle was not pressed down completely.
Press the door handle right down to the end stop.
