How to clean the electrodes.
To clean the electrodes use a duster moistened with water and soap.
If the patient has been simultaneously connected to the several units, one should
remember to estimate any possible risks that may have the result from leakage
current summating for each of used units.
Pay attention !
During the electrodes connection, the conducting parts of electrodes and patient
cable should not be in contact with each other or with other metallic parts, including
ground connection.
The electrocardiogram shall appear in no longer than 10s after defibrillator impul-
se.
4. EXAMINATION PERFORMANCE
4.1 How to perform manual examination.
Switch on the unit with the use of the
key.
The display shows:
The unit supervises the electrodes contact with the patients body and signalises
poor contact with
INOP.
When
INOP
is signalised, the ECG leads are printed as straight lines. It doesnt
matter which electrode is badly connected. Check the contact on each electrode.
When done:
Choose the record speed
Choose the record sensitivity
Choose the lead to record
