The default conversion limit will be set the first time this display is shown (range checking is not active
when
Tmax
is set to (or above) the limit.
Set the required limit and then use the
enter
key (
) to accept this or the
Esc
key to leave the
current value unchanged.

Set Probe Tmin
Probes may have a minimum temperature set for them (positive or negative). When the probe is
assigned to a channel, the probe’s temperature is checked against the set minimum and a range
error issued if the minimum temperature is exceed.
The temperature will still be displayed (it does not matter what the units are), but, if the buzzer is
enabled, a short, repetitive beep will be heard and the under-range icon will flash on the line
below the result

and the panel LED will flash red.

menu since data entry is very similar.
Note
The Tmax and Tmin limits can be set with a small ‘window’ if a
particular temperature needs to be monitored.
