1. Empty the water tank
2. Check that the lid is fitted so that the float protrudes out of the
opening in the lid and the arm runs freely.
3. Check that the water tank is turned so that the float is inside the
tray.
4. If none of the above works, the safety switch for a defective
pump may have been activated. If so, continue according to the
points below.
SHOULD BE CARRIED OUT BY A SERVICE ENGINEER
5. Turn off the power.
6. Remove the shoe stand.
7. Remove the lint filter.
8. Check if there is water in the tray. If so, move on to the points
below.
9. Check whether the drain hose is squashed or bent, causing
a crease, or whether the hose is drawn too vertical to drain,
causing a ‘water trap’ to form.
10. Loosen the grille over the tray, which is held in place by two
screws, torx 40.
11. Loosen the panel holding the cover over the pump. It is held in
place with 1 torx 40 screw.
12. Remove the foam cover over the pump.
13. Undo the panel holding the micro-switch and moisture sensor.
It is held in place with 1 torx 40 screw. Remove the float.
14. Absorb the water with a sponge or cloth.
15. Refit and check that there is a gap of 1-3 mm between the
micro-switch and the float.
16. Refit the other parts.
17. Connect the electricity and test the cabinet. The pump will start
pumping immediately.
18. If the problem remains, the entire unit must be replaced.
