Lay the door down carefully
with the inside facing upwards.
Undo all the screws holding the
upper panel in place. The screws
are located under the magnetic
strips. Remove the hangers and
lift off the panel together with the
magnetic strip.

Press the plastic bushing (6) out
of the door and cut it. Then pull
the cable through the hole in the
door.

Fit the connector (7) using the
double-sided tape and fit the
old cable to the connector. See
figure.
Fit the new cable (8) with the
plastic bushing to the new hinge
side and fit the other end to the
connector. To make fitting the
cable simpler, you may need to
loosen the upper foam board.

Refit the door panel and hangers.
Make sure that the magnetic strip
is correctly positioned.
