Setting the maximum total hob power
Maximum cooking hob power is limited to 7200 W. This setting can be decreased to 2800 W,
3500 W, or 6000 W. The setting can be made within 30 seconds after connecting the cooking
hob to the power mains:
1. Unlock the appliance by pressing the lock key.
2. Press simultaneously the cooking zone left rear and front right selector keys.

An acoustic signal will be emitted and the actual maximum power level will be displayed
on the cooking zone displays (rear display ‘72’ and front display ‘00’).
3. Set the new maximum power level using the - and + keys.
4. Select ‘28 00’ (2800 W), ‘35 00’ (3500 W), or ‘60 00’ (6000 W)
5. Store the new setting by again simultaneously press the cooking zone left rear and front
right selector keys.
If a lower maximum total power is set, then it is not possible to set a high power level on
all cooking zones simultaneously. An acoustic signal and symbol “r” on the selected cooking
zone display will indicate that the total power level has been exceeded.
Installation
• When placing the cooker next to a tall cupboard or another wall made of flammable
material, keep at least 100 mm distance between the cooker and the walls.
• Also, keep a minimum distance of 650 mm between the hob and any cooker hood placed
above the cooker.
• If you place the cooker in a kitchen unit, the minimum space must be adhered to.
• If the cooker is built in between kitchen cabinets, the lining of the units must be able to
withstand temperatures up to 90 °C.
Levelling
• The height of the cooker can be adjusted with the adjusting feet.
• If you want to install the cooker on a platform, make sure that it is securely fastened.
