Steps to set up Access Point mode: 

1.

 

Click Apply, go to Wizard > Internet setup.   

 

IP  Address:  The  LAN  IP  address  of  wireless  router.  The  default  value  is 

192.168.1.1.  In  IP-based  networks,  data  packets  are  sent  to  the  network 

devices' specific IP addresses. 

 

Subnet Mask: The LAN subnet mask of wireless router. The default value is 

255.255.255.0 

 

DNS  Server  1  &  DNS  Server  2:  Either  indicates  the  IP  address  of  DNS 

server that the wireless router will contact. 

 

Click Next. 

2.

 

Assign  the  wireless  network  name  (SSID)  and  security  key  for  2.4GHz  and  5 

GHz wireless connections.   

 

 

 

SSID:  The  network  name  or  SSID  is  a  unique  name  that  identifies  the 

wireless  network.  Wi-Fi  devices  automatically  detect  all  networks  within 

range. 

 

Key:  A  security  key  is  the  password  that  is  assigned  to  secure  a  wireless 

network from unauthorized access. To access a secured network, the user will
