Z-Sensor and Z-Eurocard Operation Manual
SSRadio Antenna Connection (Optional)
The factory can install a spread spectrum radio connector within the Z-Sensor. This
radio can also be mounted on the Z-Eurocard. The internal SSR is only a receiver and
can only be used in a “remote setup.” An external transceiver is available for base
application.
The connector uses reverse polarity to comply with FCC spread spectrum standards.
Table 2.6 summarizes the spread spectrum parameters.
Radio Interference
Some radio transmitters and receivers, such as FM radios, can interfere with the
operation of GPS receivers. We recommend you verify nearby handheld or mobile
communications devices do not interfere with the Z-receivers before setting up your
project.
