Operating modes
You can use the answering machine in two
operating modes:
Record messages:
Greeting message A is played back and the
caller can leave messages. When the
memory is full, the answering machine
automatically switches itself off. The length
of the incoming messages can be unlim-
ited or limited to 60/120/180 seconds. To
set this operating mode, select message A.
Answer only:
The caller cannot leave a message; greet-
ing message B is played back to the caller
for his information only. To set this operat-
ing mode, select message B.
In each case the operating mode is set
when the answering machine is switched
on (see page 41/45).
