Setting the total recording time
The maximum recording time available for
incoming messages on your answering
machine depends on the recording quality
you wish to have. As on a tape recorder a
short recording time results in the best pos-
sible recording quality and vice versa. Use
the procedure below to set the optimum
time for your purposes (normally "short").
A long recording time is recommended in
cases where you want to receive a large
number of messages (for example if you
are going to be absent for a long time).
