Recommendations for pneumatic connection
To achieve tightness, use a cylindric fitting with fitting sealing disc or a tapered fitting and a liquid sealant. Make sure to apply only a
small quantity of sealant.
PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) sealing tape and hemp should not be used as they may get into the inside of the valve and damage it.
To ensure maximum performance, we recommend using pneumatic lines and connections adjusted to the nominal diameter of the valve.
The supply pressure must always be less than the maximum input pressure and must be 0.5 bar above the maximum output
pressure.
Use a sufficiently filtered pressure supply (50 µm, free of condensate). Mount the filter as close as possible to the PULSTRONIC valve.
