C Device Addresses

A two-wire serial interface is provided by an I

2

C compatible serial controller integrated into the 

MC864xD. The MC864xD I

2

C controller is used by the system software to read the contents of 

the various I

2

C devices located on the MVME7100ET. The following table contains the I

2

C 

devices used for the MVME7100ET and their assigned device addresses.

1. Each SPD defines the physical attributes of each bank or group of banks. 

2. This is a dual address serial EEPROM.

3. The device address is user selectable using switches on the RTM. The recommended 

address setting for the ADT7461 is $AA.
