• Brown rice requires a longer cooking cycle than white rice due to the extra bran layers on the grain. If it appears the rice cooker is not immediately

cooking, this is due to the low-heat soak cycle that precedes cooking to produce fluffier grains.

Press the MENU button to cycle to

the “White Rice,” “Brown Rice,” or

“Quick Rice” function depending on

the type of rice being cooked. The

indicator light will confirm which

function is selected.
