The Device
The YBC-10 SDD refrigerator
(Figure 1)
is designed to safely store
vaccines only using the energy from the sun. It can maintain
stable 2 °C to 8°C storage. Without power, it can keep 2°C to 8°C
for at least 3 days, operating at constant ambient temperature
43°C.
It is equipped with a thermoelectric refrigeration system (TEC:
Thermal Energy Converter) powered by a solar electric system
with no battery. The device uses technologically advanced
materials with an extremely efficient vacuum device to isolate

temperature record and alarm function that saves data from the
previous 30 days.
