Nurse call connection
Connect one end of the nurse call cable to the 37-pin socket
(E), located below the head end of the bed on the patient’s
right.
Connect the other end of the nurse call cable (F) to the
socket on the headwall panel. The type of connector will
vary depending on the nurse call system.
Connecting the nurse call cable
WARNING
Make sure that the coiled power cord is not stretched excessively.
Do not allow the cables to trail on the floor where they may cause
a trip hazard.
Make sure that the cables do not become entangled with the
moving parts of the bed.
Before moving the bed, disconnect both cables and store the
power cord as shown on the previous page.
Connection to a nurse call system
must be made with the
correct cable. Use of the wrong cable may cause malfunction of
the bed and/or nurse call system.
Verify correct operation of the nurse call system
before placing
a patient on the bed.
Caution
Do not allow the cables to touch the bed frame as this may affect
the accuracy of the weighing system.
