The pump has three settings for the patient weight range:
• Light:
40-70 kg
• Normal: 70-120 kg
• Heavy:
120-160 kg
The pump will automatically detect whether a mattress
or seat cushion is connected.
If the backrest on the bed is raised (the patient is in a
semi-recumbent position), the clinician (or patient)
should select the
Backrest Raised
mode on the pump
which will increase the pressure in the mattress cells to
provide optimal pressure redistribution to the patient.
