Removing a Strap While Raised
(2 steps)
Individual patient support Cross Straps can be
loosened and removed for access to any part of the
patient while they are raised.
1.
Raise and move the patient away from the bed.
See Fig. 19.
2.
Unfasten the Cross Strap from one side only. It is
recommended to not unfasten both sides, which
will facilitate the reinstallation of the cross strap, if
needed. See Fig. 20.
WARNING
To avoid injury, remove no more than
one strap.
WARNING
To avoid injury, Cross Straps behind the
head and neck should not be removed
during use.
