RAISE THE PATIENT

Attach all straps to the stretcher frame. Choose
which loop to use (short or long), depending on
the size of the patient. See Fig. 13.
5.
Attach the Dual-Loop Attachment Straps from the
Arjo Strap Stretcher to the stretcher frame.
See Fig. 14.
6. Proceed to raise the patient. See Fig. 15. When
using a ceiling lift, always make sure that the Arjo
Strap Stretcher is in an horizontal position. Refer
to the section “Adjusting Stretcher Frame” on
page 15.
WARNING
To avoid patient injury, make sure any
obstructions are removed from the
intended route of travel. Hold the Arjo
Strap Stretcher with one hand when
transferring for better patient stability.

To avoid injury, use only the hooks

ed by the “SUSPENSION POINT”
labels (see Fig. 13), on the stretcher
frame to attach the Arjo Strap Stretcher
to the frame.
WARNING
To avoid the patient falling, maintain
stability and patient-caregiver contact,
by keeping the patient near the height of
the bed.
