8.  Manually attach the head (3x) and foot (1x) Cross 

Straps

9.  Thread the Cross Strap (A) around the Strap 

Guide (B). See Fig. 6.

10. 

Pass the strap guide under the side section of the 
frame and under the patient. See Fig. 7. 

Continue the movement until the strap guide 
and the cross strap are on the other side of 
the patient. If needed, press on the mattress to 
facilitate the insertion of the strap guide under the 
patient. 

11. When the cross strap is on the other side of the 

patient, pull the strap from the strap guide and 
insert it through the buckle. Remove the strap 
guide slowly from under the patient. Repeat the 
process for all cross straps.

12. Press each buckle clasp down to make sure that 

each strap is pulled tight and in a secure position. 

See Fig. 8.

 WARNING

To avoid injury, be careful not to trap 
any skin while feeding straps under the 
patient or under the buttocks. Pay extra 
attention on bariatric patients.
