2. Install flat washer on mounting rod and secure
with a hair pin on the right side and a cotter pin on
the left side.
3. Connect gas springs to pins to pivot frame and
chute housing. Secure with cotter pins (Figure 8).
NOTE:
If additional down force is required on sno-head
for better scraping, remove the right gas spring.
4. Connect lift links to lift arms and Sno-Thro
housing. Secure with washers and cotter pins
(Figure 9).
5. Assemble carriage frame to pivot frame using (2)
5/8 x 1.50 bolts and (2) 5/8 nuts (Figure 10).
6. Position mule drive belt (shipped on Sno-Thro
housing) around double idlers, around bottom
groove in spindle shaft pulley and between the
“V” idler and flat idler (Figure 10).
NOTE:
Flat idler contacts the back side of the mule
drive belt.
