1. Secure control bracket support to tractor frame
with .375-16 x .75 capscrews and .375-16
locknuts (Figure 13). If necessary, rotate the oil
drain elbow forward to provide clearance. Leave
hardware loose until carriage frame/pivot frame
has been installed in place on tractor.
2. Fasten control bracket to control bracket support
with .375-16 hardware.
Attach to Tractor
1. With Sno-Thro assembly on a flat level surface,
attach rollers to lower studs on chute channel and
roll Sno-Thro into position with the pivot frame
under front of tractor. Raise the tractor front end
to help get Sno-Thro under tractor.
2. With rear latch pins locked out, raise rear of
carriage frame and then secure to rear hanger
brackets with latch pins (yokes straddle hanger
brackets) (Figure 14).

lock pins into front axle support (or pivot frame
brackets installed for 834035). If necessary, move
lift lever back and forth to aid installation.
4. Adjust the lift lever so it is easily operated from
the operator’s seat. Turn the clevis rod to raise or
lower the lever (See
Service and Adjustments
).
IMPORTANT:
Sno-Thro housing must lock in raised
position. Adjust lift lever by turning clevis rod if housing
does not lock in raised position. Refer to Lift Lever
section of
Service and Adjustments
.
5. Move rollers to upper studs on chute channel and
secure with cotter pins.
6. Install chute control crank through upper hole in
control bracket and secure to spool with hair pin
(Figure 13).
7. Remove nut from end of control cable and place
end of control cable through lower hole in control
bracket.
8. Replace nut and tighten. Add knob and screw
from parts bag to end of control cable.
