IMPORTANT:
Install pivot frame mounts as shown
(Figure 5).
ASSEMBLE THE ATTACHMENT
Assemble Sno-Thro
1. Loosen chute clamp tapping screws on clamps
(See Figure 6).
NOTE:
DO NOT loosen screw holding cable in place.
2. Install the discharge chute onto Sno-Thro
housing.
3. Tighten tap screws to 60 in. lb.
NOTE:
Discharge chute is shipped with cable in place
and adjusted for proper operation. If adjustment is
required refer to Discharge Chute Cable in
Service and
Adjustments
.
4. Position control cable’s pivot through tab on chute
deflector and secure with cotter pin. Loosen one
jam nut, place control cable in slot of tab on
discharge chute and tighten jam nuts to secure
control cable (Figure 7).
NOTE:
Loosen hardware at chute deflector pivot points
if necessary for free movement.
Connect Sno-Thro to Frame
1. Connect Sno-Thro housing to pivot frame using
mounting rod. Be sure mounting rod goes
through the stabilizer strap. Also, make sure the
double idlers attached to the Sno-Thro are in the
raised position (Figure 8).
