diagram.
By tapping the buttons below the diagram the data display of each inclinometer can be

5.8 Additional Information / Background Processes
5.8.1 Interruption of the Bluetooth Connection
The Bluetooth connection between the mobile device and the PTQ communication unit can be
affected by various external circumstances and in the worst case may be interrupted. This can
be recognized by the signal strength symbol in the title bar of the app (see
Fehler!

Reasons for this can be:
•
Too great distance between mobile device and PTQ com unit
•
Obstacles between mobile device and PTQ com unit
•
Empty battery of the PTQ com unit
•
Radio interferences
If the connection is only interrupted for a short time (a few seconds), it is automatically restored
as soon as the disturbing influence has disappeared. In this case a running measurement is
also continued and only some measurement data may be lost.
If the connection is interrupted for a longer period of time, the app tries to reconnect every 10
seconds. In this case, however, the PTQ com unit will have automatically terminated a running
measurement. This must then be repeated.
CAUTION
If the data connection is lost, the live displays are no longer updated! As this means
that control of the load situation is no longer provided, the interruption or termination of the pull
test may be necessary.
