IMPORTANTNOTE:Duetothescaleairframedesignandlandinggear/wheel
positionsit’sVERYimportanttoholdFULLUPelevatorwhenfirststartingandfor
mostofthetakeoff‘roll’inordertopreventtheairplanefrom‘nosingover’.
Whenthemodelreachesflyingspeeditwillriseoffthegroundandyouwillneedto
significantlyreducetheamountofupelevatorinordertopreventthemodelfrom
climbingtooquickly(andpotentiallyenteringastall).Then,dependingontheamount
ofspaceavailableand/orthealtitudeyouwouldliketoflyatitmaybenecessaryto
quicklylowerthethrottlesticktoapproximatelythe1/2position(orslightlylower)in
ordertocruise/maintainagivenaltitude.
IMPORTANTNOTE:AfterhandlaunchorROGtakeoffyoumustbesuretonotraise
thenoseoftheairplanetoomuch(morethanapproximately2030degrees)asdoing
socouldcausetheairplanetostallandcrash.Thisisoneofthemostcommonways
forlowtimepilotstocrash.

Inmostcasesitwillbebesttofocusonturninginonlyonedirectionuntilyouhavea
goodfeelforthehandlingandcapabilitiesofthemodel.Youwillalsofindthatit’s
possibletoturnwellatapproximatelycruisespeed(between1/3and1/2lefthand
stick/throttleposition)butthatyoucanturnfasterwithmorethrottle/speedand
rudder/elevatorcontrolinput.However,besureyoudon’taddtoomuch
throttle/speedasitwillcausethemodeltoclimbduringaturn(anddon’tusetoolittle
asthemodelwilldescendduringaturn).

Whenturningfromonedirectiontoanother,inthecaseofperformingafigure8for
example,you’llfindthatincreasingthrottle/speedquicklywhenchangingthedirection
oftheturn,thendecreasingitagainafterestablishingtheturninthenewdirection,
willhelpreducetheamountofspacerequiredtochangedirectionasneeded.Thiswill
takesomepracticetogetusedtosoit’sbesttoonlychangedirectionifyourflying
area(especiallysmallerindoorspaces)allowsforitcomfortably.
